Flexitank for 20-foot container

Flexitank is an elastic, supplementary cistern, made of special polymers and developed directly for six-meter containers (20-foot). This capacity is the safest one for transportation of liquid products.

Flexitanks are successfully put into practice in transportation of liquids in world practice for more than 20 years. This elastic container can have a different volume: from 10 to 24 cubic meters. A weight of load, that is transported in this capacity, is defined as 95% from product of transported liquid's density to volume of flexitank. Possible losses during loading and unloading are no more than 5%.

Flexitank is a guarantee of high quality and safe transportation of liquid loads. In support of it, all models are insured in international insurance company for single-time use. The insurance isn't valid when it's reused.

Flexitank consists directly of some layers. Internal layer represents a polyethylene film from one to four layers and external one is a laminated PP-material. There are also stop valves for discharge/filling of liquid products and air-valve for removing air inside of construction's pressure shell. Partitions are metal vertical walls with holders from plastic in the intervals. To lower a friction of cistern on internal walls of container it's advisable to use a crinkled paper. There can be used fibreboard about 2 mm thick or 3 mm of cellular polyethylene. Besides, informing or warning inscriptions can be put on flexitank. There is a need in heating lining during transportation of certain liquid products.

The advantages of flexitanks include a simplicity of installation, it's also convenient to fill and drain. Maintenance staff that accept or send the goods doesn't need any special knowledge or skills to perform these operations.

Typical cisterns and tank-containers aren't as good as flexitanks. That's why flexitanks are gaining popularity every day. Economic benefit during usage of soft cisterns is one of the reasons. Cost og freight with the help of flexitank is much lower than with a simple cistern. Labor cost of such process is lower and consequently, production of loading and unloading operations is increasing.

There is no costs for cleaning of used containers and for return it to lessee. It allows to economize for one transit hundreds of euro. Effective usage of ISO containers is raising with this package. As useful area can increase by ?, possible losses of load is reducing by dozens of times during unloading. Besides, one can reduce a lot of time spent on loading and unloading operations and get rid of intermediate reload operations during transportation of liquid loads with their help.

After assembling of soft cistern, attachments for product loading connect to it. Duration of pumping can be 20-40 minutes. It depends on power level of pump unit and type of load. Filling with the speed of 700 Lt/min is considered to be optimal for filling flexitanks. Flexitank's filled container is ready for transportation. Transportation can be realized by any means of transport (motor, sea or railway). On arrival to destination point, goods are quickly unloaded without losses with the help of pump unit. After what, flexitank is utilized as it's a container for single-time use.
